Why did you create LocalBizTweet?

We’ve seen a lot of people posting lists of local business Twitter accounts, but we couldn’t find a comprehensive directory where people can go to find local businesses that are active on Twitter. So we figured we’d build one.

What is a Verified Business?

If a business has a "Verified Business" logo on its listing, that means that the business owner has verified that the information is accurate and proven that they own the business by logging in at Twitter.com If you are a business owner and find your business on Local Biz Tweet, click the verify link on your listing page. You will be directed to Twitter.com where you will be asked to input your business's twitter account and password. Once you do that, your business will be granted the "Verified Business" logo.
